Well, I guess I'm only here now since TF Tumblr stopped being a viable place to be a Jewish person. Well, I'm here and technically on AO3 but I really... don't know how much writing I'll be doing going forward. Recent events have been quite the creativity killer.

I've also only used Dreamwidth really as a backup archive and for some fandom events so I'm still figuring out what to do here. Time for more community involvement, I think, getting back to LJ-style fandom roots.

With less writing, there's more free time to do stuff, like organize a ship week comm or something.

I haven't been active on tumblr for years. From time to time I lurk there but I always preferes it to have communities for fandom.

I am way too seldom online here as this year has been kinda me and prevents me from writing and being active in fandoms.

That makes sense. I've been active on Tumblr off and on since about 2008 in various fandoms. Maybe if the atmosphere over there improves I'll lurk but who knows.

I hope the remainder of the year improves for you and that next year is better.

I'm on and off on tumblr since 2010 and I had times when this website was all I needed but for some fandoms it wasn't the right place and the older I got the less I felt drawn to it. Mostly because for in influx in RL matters which I always try to keep away from my online spaces.

It is something different if someone posts on here about it as it is just one entry and not several reblogs from several different people.

That was something which drove me away from this site around 2016.

I know I can't delete my blogs on there and for lurking they are all good. Or a quick reblog from something I find on Pinterest etc


I hope so too. I have my fingers crossed that this month I can write at least a starting chapter of the crossover which gives me brainrot en mass.

I might even dust off my AO3 to throw that idea at the world. So far I haven't checked the site but I doubt my friend and I are the first one to think TF/FNAF is interesting.

I understand how difficult it can be to active in fandom at times, especially on certain platforms as the communities change and as RL stuff takes precedence. It's been a long journey from LJ for me back in the day through Tumblr and LJ-like platforms like Dreamwidth.

Best of luck with your crossover! I hope it works out for you in a way that you find satisfying. :)

I often feel not welcome, either because I am selective in what pieces of media from a fandom I consume or because I grew up in fandom spaces with "let them ship what they want".
I began my fandom journey on dA, then I went to tumblr and in between I peaked at other sites.

I hope so too. I am glad that one of my best friends knows as much about FNAF as I know about TF and she's down to help me with writing. It's nice to know I have someone to bounce ideas off and help me with not getting lost in the lore I still have to untangle.
